Kyren Wilson Nosebleed Disrupts Tour Championship Match Against Ding
In a shocking turn of events, the Tour Championship quarter-final match between Kyren Wilson and Ding Junhui was twice suspended due to Wilson suffering a severe nosebleed mid-game. The incident, which left fans and commentators stunned, occurred with Ding leading 5-1.
As Wilson’s nose began to bleed profusely, play was halted and the world champion rushed off stage to receive treatment. Commentators Dave Hendon and Alan McManus expressed their concern for Wilson’s well-being, with McManus noting that while he had never experienced a similar situation, he could relate to the annoyance of a dripping nose during play.
After a 30-minute delay, Wilson returned to the table but was unable to shift the momentum in his favor. Ding capitalized on his opponent’s misfortune, securing another frame to extend his lead to 7-1.
